Lumina Lacquer Danse Macabre & Piper Polish Teenage Wasteland

Today is my first official blog post and I have tried two, new to me, Indie polishes. Lumina Lacquer's Danse Macabre & Piper Polish's Teenage Wasteland. I started with two coats of Piper Polish Teenage Wasteland topped with Zoya Armour, then did two accent fingers with one coat of  Lumina Lacquer Danse Macabre. I did a regular coat of Danse Macabre then dabbled to get a few more glitters in place! Teenage wasteland is described as brown with copper red flashes and color shifting micro glitter. I would say it looks like darker taupe that reflects pink and has gold glitters that reflect green. Danse Macabre is described as two shades of blue circle glitter with holographic moons and starts with various microglitters. I say this is a pretty good description, but to elaborate more, the blue looks a bit more turquoise to me and is combined with yellow gold and black circles along with the holo stars and moons!

I personally loved this combo and had no application issues with either polish. Lumina Lacquer is created by a fellow polish lover in one of my polish groups. She is super sweet and very creative as you can see. Her polish is available at her big cartel shop. http://www.luminalacquer.bigcartel.com/product/danse-macabre
I discovered Piper Polish when I was searching Etsy for a green holo polish (which I did find and will post about at a later date) and ended up purchases Teenage Wasteland as well! It is available here http://www.etsy.com/listing/108893735/brown-polish-with-copper-red-flashes.

Let me know what you think!
